Conservatorio di Musica "Giuseppe Tartini" di Trieste
The Giuseppe Tartini State Conservatory of Trieste, founded in 1903, is one of Italy’s historic music conservatories and is regarded as a music academy of European importance. The academic program consists of 124 courses, 87 of which are at university level, and range from instrumental completion to orchestral and choral conducting, from composition to musical theatre, from jazz to new technologies.
As member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires (AEC), the Tartini Conservatory collaborates internationally with over 70 European universities and academic institutions and over 10 extra-european academies, promoting every year a vast international mobility plan for students and teachers, which ranks it amongst the highest in Italy for the number of exchanges. The prestigious recognition of the Agenzia dell’Unione Europea testifies that the certification issued by the Tartini Conservatory is complete, consistent, and conformant to international standards and allows it to be fully recognized in all European institutions.
The Conservatory also activated in a.y.2022/23 the biennial MASTER’S COURSE OF LEVEL II. IN PIANO (EQF8) by bringing the third level of studies for the first time to Tartini, and in a.y.2024/25 it obtained an accreditation from the Ministry for a PhD in collaboration with the Conservatories of Ferrara, Pescara and Udine, activating a PhD in MUSICAL COMPOSITION AND PERFORMANCE.
