With PEC you can send a certified email, that has legal value, from your house or office, which will be received instantaneously.
It has the same value as a registered letter (lettera raccomandata).
There are several companies that offer PEC accounts. Usually, they all ask for a monthly/annual subscription.

Public System for Digital Identity: it is the solution that allows citizens to access all online services of the Italian Public Administration with a single Digital Identity (username and password) that can be used from computers, tablets and smartphones. To request SPID credentials you need: a valid Italian identity document (identity card or passport), your health card, an email address and a mobile phone number.

National Health System: The Italian Health System is organized at regional level under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. The local health authorities are in charge of the services for free or upon the payment of a co-payment fee (ticket). One-Stop-Shops for Immigration: it is active at Prefettura to manage procedures regarding the first hiring of foreign workers, family reunion and the conversion of residence permits.
In the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, the functions of SUI are carried out by three entities:
1-The Prefecture (Prefettura), which issues entry clearances (nulla osta) for family reunion for Non Eu family members of Non-EU citizens already residing in Italy;
2-The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, which issues entry clearances (nulla osta) for subordinate employment for non-EU citizens and provides opinions on specific types of residence permit conversions (e.g. from study to work);

is a personal document issued to individuals entitled to benefit of the Italian National Health System. It contains several information, such as the biographical data and the tax identification number.

according to the service requested, a fee is foreseen when using the National health system -SSN (e.g. specialist medical examination, blood analysis etc..). Also people registered with the SSN must pay these fees.

Certified (or sworn) translation is a translation along with the translator’s declaration which certifies that the translated document is a true and accurate translation of the original one. The local Courthouse (Tribunale) oversees this. You may need a certified translation for several administrative purposes in Italy and when you cannot provide a document with apostillae or already translated in Italian and legalised by the local Italian Embassy.
